Race Insights is built by riders, for riders. We collect only the data needed to analyze race results, compare performance, and provide the AI-powered features you expect. We never sell your personal information, and we keep things simple so you can focus on riding faster.
2. Data We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email, and authentication details used to secure your account.
- Race Data: Rider names, teams, categories, stage times, and positions. Most of this data is sourced from publicly available race results.
- Usage Data: Basic analytics on how you interact with the site (e.g. what pages are viewed) so we can understand what riders find useful.
3. How We Use Data
- To provide comparison tools, dashboards, and AI responses.
- To improve the platform and prioritize new features.
- To deliver optional email updates (only if you opt in).
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share anonymized or aggregated race data (like total riders or stage averages) to highlight platform usage. Authentication is handled by trusted providers (NextAuth, Google OAuth), and database access is limited to authorized services.
5. Your Choices
- You can request account deletion or data export at any time by contacting us.
- You can manage AI conversation history directly in the Race Bot interface.
- Most race data is public, but we will remove specific entries upon verified requests.
